Surfing and beaches
|Getting there, & getting around||Booking info|
Mimizan Plage has beautiful, wide sandy beaches and three main access areas with car parking (North, West and South). The beaches slope gently into the ocean which makes for great swimming and surfing. Surf boards can be hired from a number of shops in the village, and there are a couple of local surf schools. The river estuary also has bathing beaches (particularly at low tide) which can provide a more sheltered environment especially for younger children.
